From the President

Hey Huskies and fellow members of the Husky community,

On behalf of the 22 chapters that make up the University of Washington Greek Community, welcome to the Interfraternity Council!

For over a century, the UW Greek community has been at the forefront, shaping student life and molding Washington's brightest young minds into capable individuals. Our academic excellence is renowned, and within the Greek Community, we aim to not only boost academic prowess but also cultivate a supportive and friendly community.

The challenges of the past couple of years have brought about some unprecedented issues for our community. As we step into a new era, many fraternities are still navigating through these challenges.

To ensure the thriving and expansion of the Greek Community, the IFC Executive Team is actively dedicating time and resources to specific goals:

  • Expand recruitment opportunities to bring in new members and increase chapter sizes.

  • Foster strong relationships with other Greek councils and collaborate with Panhellenic to develop effective strategies against interpersonal violence.

  • Explore avenues to enhance inclusion and diversity within the Greek community.

  • Collaborate with UW to prevent hazing and implement new policies in line with Washington State Legislation.

Whether you're a part of our community or joining us from elsewhere, check out our website for any questions you might have. Feel free to reach out to me at ifcpres@uw.edu!

I wish you the best, and Go Huskies!

Jack Prichard

IFC President
